Ranju Thapa was born in Harichaur Village of Baglung district. She was educated in National school of Nepal, Budhanilakantha School. She has completed Masters Degree in Accountancy and Finance. She is also engaged in spiritual lifestyle and a devotee of Bhagawan Shree Rajneesh Osho.
She also likes to engage in artwork. She likes to get involved in charity works. She was involved in Nepal Jaycees as a Ladies Programme Coordinator. She also voluteered in various social organizations especially educating women in maternal health. She is a trained beautician and engaged as a freelance trainer in the field. She likes to contribute in the field of spirituality, entrepreneurship and women empowermet.
