Uttam Sharma, PhD is an applied economist interested in education issues. He has more than 10 years of experience conducting impact evaluations in Bangladesh, Kenya, Nepal, Nigeria, Tanzania and Uganda in programs related to agriculture, education and labor market. Currently, he is also an international consultant for the World Bank and the Asian Development Bank.
He has taught a course on research methods at Hue University in Vietnam and on Economics of Education and microeconomics at Carleton College, USA. He has been involved with diverse organizations in the field of development, and is working towards ensuring quality education for all.
