Kamal Nepal was born on 18 May 1979 in Tanahun district. His received his primary education in the village. Later being a talented student, he became a student of Budhanilkantha School in Kathmandu. During his schools days, he has an interest in literature, art and culture. Due to his interest he even got a role of an actor in one act play. His poetry has been published in different newspapers like Balak, Muna, Kishor, Gorkhapatra, etc.
